Activate Apprenticeships are looking for hair models to aid their hairdressing and barbering apprenticeship programmes at Reading College and City of Oxford College.
Hair models are required to enhance the skills and expertise of hairdressing and barbering apprentices. All are welcome to partake in the apprenticeship training programme on select dates.
Initially, hair models will be invited to a detailed consultation with tutors within the salons, after which they will provide advice and guidance alongside practising apprentices.
All cuts and colours are overseen by a highly experienced training team, and no hair model leaves without being checked by the trainer to ensure services are to the highest standard.
Alison Doyle, the lead assessor for hairdressing and barbering apprentices, said: "The apprentices are all employed and are working full-time within the industry, offering different levels of ability.
"This means that they work to high professional standards, understanding the importance of client care when working in this service industry."
The apprenticeship programme needs hair models throughout the year to assist their Level 2 and 3 apprentices in reaching their full potential.
Available dates for hair models at Reading College and City of Oxford College in 2018 include –
Reading: 24 September, 8 and 29 October and 12 and 26 November.
Oxford: 2 and 16 October, 6 and 20 November and 4 December.
Cuts are for a small fee, with a limited additional cost for colour work, allowing the public to enjoy great hairdressing at amazing low prices.
