Become a Peer Mentor and help new students with our new buddy system!

25 June 2020

Can you remember when you first started college? Would it have helped if you had a mentor to support you? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you may want to become a Peer Mentor next year!

In September 2020, Activate Learning will be introducing a buddy system at all colleges to support new students in settling in at college - and we need current students help to do so!

What does a Peer Mentor do?

As a Peer Mentor, you will represent your college and be paired with someone on a similar course and/or interests to help them settle into college.

Being a Peer Mentor will look great on your CV and will help with future employment. It can also be added to your personal statement if you are interested in applying to university!

How to apply to be a Peer Mentor

If you would like to get involved, please apply to become a Peer Mentor via this short form detailing your information and why you would like to be a buddy.

If you have any questions at all, please contact charlotte.morgan@activatelearning.ac.uk for more information.
